Camp Mitchell is a ministry of the Episcopal Church in Arkansas. We provide a sacred place and offer programs that foster formation, recreation, fellowship, and renewal.
A popular site for retreats, conferences, reunions and weddings, Camp Mitchell hosts many Episcopal events each year—the Arkansas Youth Event, Winterstar, Cursillo and Clergy Conference, as well as eight summer camp sessions. Camp Mitchell is also the long-time host to many non-Episcopal groups, such as the Ecumenical Buddhist Society of Little Rock and the Arkansas Konference of Young People in A.A. (ARKYPAA). Camp Mitchell also has a small farm on which they grow vegetables, raise chickens, and keep bees.
We welcome casual visitors during daylight hours. Please stop at the office in Hoke Lodge on arrival to introduce yourself and let us know you’re here. Casual visitors are not permitted on the campus during Summer Camp sessions or youth events — please check our calendar. No pets are allowed on Camp Mitchell property or in any buildings. (Read all of our Rules and Guidelines.)
While you’re here, please feel free to use our Chapel to meditate or pray, stroll the grounds or take in the view from our cliffs.
